Where can you find information on selling annuity? When I first started out in the business I had a very difficult time learning of ways I could improve my performance. Even the basics I was having trouble figuring out. Here's what helped and where I've found the best information on selling annuity:
1. Seminars.
Seminars have helped tremendously, or should I say, some seminars have helped tremendously. I started out going to every annuity selling seminar I could find, only to learn that my time would have been better spent researching the seminar first, who the speakers would be and an idea of the tactics discussed. There were quite a few that barely went above the basics. Granted, I did learn a thing or two, but for the price tag I expected a lot more. Then there were those few really golden seminars. These are the one's that you walk away from completely fired up with a new arsenal of information and usable tactics. So the bottom line is that not all seminars are alike. Find out who's speaking, the information going to be presented, and the overall "quality feel" of the seminar.
2. Online Annuity Selling Systems.
This has been the latest for annuity agents to invest in, to increase their sales with the goal of becoming super producers. Much like the seminars, there are the average systems, and then there are the one's you totally devour and end up using the tactics right away, and seeing positive results immediately. The convenience of online annuity selling systems is amazing as well. You don't have to travel anywhere, you simply download the system, read through it, examine the charts, power point, and video, and hopefully take away a massive amount of new tactics for creating leads and producing better than ever before.
